About the Project
A 133,000 SF four-story addition to the School of Engineering’s East Hall building, this new facility is a research and economic development hub for the engineering school. A first-floor atrium connects the building’s facilities and houses the school’s career services and a 9,000 SF Innovation Maker Facility. The top three floors house research labs for mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering and computer science. The building also has a vivarium, used for keeping and observing wildlife.
