Donna graduated from the University of Virginia in 2001 and immediately joined Dunbar. Though she was raised on the beaches of Delaware, she decided to stay in Virginia to pursue her passion of unique atypical engineering projects and high-end residences. Her diverse background in projects ranges from supporting the Children’s Hospital of Richmond Pavilion project during the process of cutting the building in half, to engineering homes that have been featured in Architectural Digest, to working with artists on supporting sculptures and art installations. Donna is a past Chair of the Structural Engineers Association of Virginia (SEAVa), is active in ACE Mentor Program of RVA, and published an article in Structure Magazine in December 2017.
In her spare time, she is an avid painter, a converted baseball fanatic, and a frequent traveler. Ask about her latest trip or what’s the next baseball stadium on her family’s bucket list and she will gladly share.
