Marcin started at Dunbar in 2004. As an engineer, he likes all types of projects, but especially enjoys the larger ones that give him time to think about solutions and be creative. He feels his greatest strength is his ability to get along with people.
Marcin has an interesting past. Marcin met his wife in Poland while he was still in high school. She had emigrated from Poland to Canada as a child and was on her first trip to Poland. They survived a seven-year long-distance relationship and reunited when he graduated from university. He greatly admires his parents for the economic and political difficulties they endured in Poland, while still providing for their two sons.
His free time is spent with his wife and three sons, and working on his cars and projects around the house. He loves to travel and would do more if he had the time. He would like to visit each continent and learn about other cultures and cuisines. If Marcin could meet one historical figure it would be Pope John Paul II, because he played a monumental role in Poland’s rise from oppression and is loved and admired by so many.
