Thomas Bracy is a Graduate Engineer in the Richmond office. He contributes to a variety of structural design projects with a focus on precision and problem-solving. He joined Dunbar full-time after completing two internships in Northern Virginia, bringing hands-on experience and a strong academic foundation to his role.
Thomas earned both his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (2024) and his Master of Science in Structural Engineering (2025) from Virginia Tech. He is already applying the skills and knowledge gained through his studies and project work as part of the team working on the VCU Dental School Building. His interest in structural engineering was sparked during a high school mission trip to Colombia, where he saw firsthand the impact that a lack of infrastructure can have on communities. This experience inspired him to pursue civil engineering and ultimately develop a passion for structures and architecture.
Outside of work, Thomas enjoys spending time with his fiancé, Emily, and playing and watching sports, including baseball, soccer, spikeball, and pickleball. He also enjoys playing the drums and is learning guitar.
